FABLAB is open for the public. It offers the possibility of creating and making various objects and matarials on proffesional machines. We are expecting further technologies that will improve the digital fabrication experience. FABLAB encourages and supports creativity, experimentation and innovation. It gives the possibility to pursue and realize your dreams.

Entrepreneurs can learn about digital fabrication technologies and the advantages of fast economical prototyping. They can also contact creative people at Fablab and get business feedback for future projects

FABLAB NETWORK IN THE WORLD

Open platform for designers, developers, artists, students and general public. It offers the space to familiarize with technologies and practice of 21th century digital fabrication tools.

Initial FABLAB was created in Boston and after that, small manufacturing centers start rising. We can find them nowadays in United States, Europe as well as Africa, South America and Asia. There are lots of examples of FABLAB inventions around the world like collars with transmitters for Norwegian caribou herds, water pumps, pressure turbines, agricultural tools, parabolic antennas and many other ones.

Fablab Bratislava is detached working space of Slovak Center of Scientific and Technological Information (SCSTI) which is directly managed by Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.

Fablab at SCSTI is a partner of FabLabNet  – a project implemented through the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF.
